Toy Gift Supply is a large-scale custom plush production company in Dongguan, China, with over 10 years of manufacturing experience. Our standard MOQ is 3,000 pieces per design. We hold a FAMA certificate and have long-term OEM manufacturing experience for international brands including Disney, Universal and Pokémon. Brand experience does not grant a buyer rights to third-party characters.
Why choose a factory focused on substantial wholesale orders?
A retail launch is not finished when one attractive prototype arrives. Buyers also need the approved design translated into material choices, production instructions, finished-product checks and the correct retail pack. TGS brings custom development and bulk manufacturing into the same project discussion, so sourcing teams can review the complete order rather than treat the toy and packaging as unrelated purchases.
Our 3,000-piece minimum reflects that focus. Pattern development, embroidery setup, fabric purchasing, line preparation and inspection planning all need attention before repeated production. A coherent run helps organize this work around one design. The MOQ is our operating policy, not a requirement imposed by FAMA or by any brand. The full explanation remains in our custom plush MOQ guide.
What should the order plan show before quotation?
For a US or European brand, separate the production quantity from the sales allocation. A design may be intended for several stores, distributors or online channels, but those allocations do not automatically create different sewing specifications. Conversely, a change in size, character shape or construction may require a separate design review.
| Planning decision | What to provide | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Design quantities | Units for each character and size | Confirms whether each design meets the 3,000-piece minimum |
| Production artwork | Front, side and back views with dimensions | Defines a consistent shape and construction brief |
| Materials and decoration | Fabric direction, colors, embroidery and accessories | Identifies shared materials and separate setup work |
| Retail allocation | Markets, labels, packaging versions and carton quantities | Keeps product identity and receiving instructions aligned |
| Approval ownership | One contact consolidating design and procurement feedback | Prevents contradictory instructions reaching production |
Can a collection share one production brief?
Use one collection overview, then a separate specification for each design. For example, a hypothetical order with two different characters at 3,000 pieces each totals 6,000 pieces; an order of 1,500 per character does not meet TGS's minimum. This is a planning example, not a completed TGS customer case or a price offer.
Record what is genuinely shared: the same fabric reference, common hangtag size or standard carton mark format. Then identify exceptions, such as different embroidery, clothing or retail labels. Shared components may simplify coordination, but they do not remove the need to approve each character. Our wholesale plush collection route helps buyers organize an assortment before detailed review.
How does OEM experience help the buyer's planning process?
Long-term brand OEM work makes approval discipline a relevant part of the factory conversation. Ask how your artwork version, approved sample, packaging file and production instruction will be connected. Ask which changes need renewed approval and who resolves a question before the affected work continues. Those answers are more useful than a brand name displayed without context.
Review our actual Dongguan factory photographs alongside the OEM/ODM manufacturing capabilities. For procurement onboarding, discuss the documents relevant to your program through our FAMA and OEM evidence checklist. Confidentiality and project scope determine which supporting records can be shared.
What should US and European buyers resolve before release?
Give the factory the destination countries, intended age group, sales channels and retailer-specific requirements early. Confirm the finished-product test plan and label responsibilities with your compliance team. Production experience and factory documents do not replace checks for the exact product. Use our existing US-market planning guide or European and other market planning guide to organize questions for review.
Keep the desired warehouse arrival date separate from factory completion. Freight bookings, receiving rules and packaging approval can affect the wider plan. For schedule stages, refer to the production timeline; this article focuses on the decisions that make that schedule usable.
What if your project is not ready for a formal quote?
You are welcome to ask about our process before preparing every file. When you need a quotation or sample review, send a company or brand name, quantity per design, target dimensions, consistent production views and packaging direction. An AI concept image can explain a mood, but it cannot establish unseen construction. A clear brief lets both teams assess fit without promising a sample from incomplete information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 3,000 pieces the minimum for a whole collection?
No. TGS's standard minimum is 3,000 pieces per design. Different characters require separate quantity and specification review; quantities cannot automatically be pooled across a collection.
Does FAMA require a 3,000-piece order?
No. The minimum is TGS's commercial production policy. It reflects our focus on coordinated bulk manufacturing, not a quantity requirement from FAMA or an international brand.
Can we discuss a project before the artwork is complete?
Yes. General process questions are welcome. A formal quotation or sample review requires front, side and back drawings with dimensions, quantity per design and the other project specifications.
Does a large order guarantee a lower unit price?
No. Price depends on construction, materials, decoration, accessories, packaging and the agreed order details. Request a design-specific quotation rather than assuming a particular discount.
