A plush bag charm must be approved while hanging, not only lying flat. Confirm the loop position, clasp or ring, reinforcement, finished balance, label and packaging on the complete sample before bulk production.
Bag charms and basic keychains are not identical projects
A bag charm is usually chosen for visible fashion or lifestyle use, so silhouette, hanging angle and hardware finish matter more. A basic promotional keychain may prioritize compact size and cost. Define the carrying situation before deciding the plush dimensions and accessory.

Approve the hanging balance
The attachment point changes how the character faces the customer. A loop placed too far back can tilt the face downward; a heavy accessory can rotate a small item. Test the finished sample on a bag or hook and confirm the preferred viewing angle.
Reinforce the connection without distorting the shape
The loop and stitching should support normal handling while remaining visually integrated with the design. The factory may need to adjust the loop position, seam allowance or internal reinforcement. This should be settled during sampling rather than after bulk sewing begins.
Use retail packaging that shows the product clearly
- Hangtag for brand story and compact barcode information.
- Backing card for a controlled hanging display.
- Individual bag for product protection and warehouse handling.
- Small gift box for premium presentation, subject to separate packaging review.
Keep a collection consistent
For a multi-design bag charm range, standardize hardware finish, label position, packaging dimensions and visual scale where practical. Each design still needs its own pattern and approval, but a consistent system makes the retail assortment easier to display and reorder.
Review the complete bag charm in its intended position
Use the same bag handle, strap or display fixture for each sample revision. Review the charm while attached, then review how the hardware sits in its retail pack. These are appearance and usability checks; they do not replace an agreed strength test or product-specific safety assessment.
- Attach it as the customer will. Check clasp opening, ring clearance and whether the loop can reach around the intended attachment point.
- Photograph front and side views while hanging. Record face direction, tilt and whether clothing or accessories pull the body off balance.
- Inspect the connection. Check visible stitching, reinforcement position, loose threads and whether the loop distorts the head or body.
- Review the packed item. Check contact between metal parts, plush and printed card, plus barcode visibility and the product orientation on display.
- Keep one signed-off reference. Identify the sample version, hardware finish and approved hanging views in the production specification.
If you change clasp size, loop position, fabric or accessories, repeat the hanging review. Agree any attachment-strength acceptance criteria before bulk production.
